Plane, Boat, Automobile

So... getting ready to leave tomorrow for our first cruise.  We will fly to Galveston, TX and then get on a Disney Magic and cruise the western caribbean.   I am not at all prepared to go.  Still doing laundry and cleaning, haven't packed, etc.  My son tells me last night he needs sunglasses and hair gel.  Why do I try over and over again to be organized yet it never works.  Oh well, soon I can get on the boat and relax, right?  In fact what am I doing?  I need to go do stuff...

So...this blog is really for just personal use right now at least.  I thought it sounded like fun and would be a good way to document my life.  I suck at keeping a journal, so we will see how this goes.

My 12 year old and I have lots in common.  I like it.  We both love movies.  I took him to see Super 8 last night.  I had already seen it with hubby and LOVED IT.  He wanted to see it but I was a little concerned he would think it was boring (not enough action or violence).  Hubby does not see movies twice, so off we went together at 9:00 at night.  We chatted all the way there about music and movies and other important things.  When the movie was over I tentatively asked him what he thought.  He said "My favorite movie ever!"  Score!!  I smiled all the way home.  What a cool mom I felt like.
